Tonight we held our girls come and try skill session at Windsor Park for girls aged 17 and under.
It was great to see so many smiling faces both new and returning, learn new skills with GWS player Madi Brazendale and have the chance to grab an autograph and photo after the session.

Thank you to @afltas, @gwsgiantsaflw and of course Madi herself for this wonderful opportunity!

We even stole the opportunity to have Madi sign her draftee wall photo 💙

The Launceston Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Matt Shipp.

Matt, Ange and their three boys have all been ingrained in our club through junior football, with Matt coaching into the Development League. He was also a regular member of our Masters program.

Always willing to help out wherever was needed, Matt’s presence at the club will be sorely missed and felt by many.

We will support Ange, Ryan, Jordan and Ethan, as well as Matt and family’s extensive friendship group at the club, while they mourn this incredible loss 💙

Alex tubb will be joining us from the George Town Football Club, a young hungry and very exciting player who is ready to take his game to the next level. A big strong key position player that can play at both ends of the ground, he will be a very handy addition to our senior side. Alex has already impressed coaches and teammates at our first few training sessions and is definitely going to helps us take that next step to success.

We welcome back Ben Hyatt, Angus Jeffries, Ryan Shipp, Ethan Conway, Lochie Plunkett, Dylan Farquhar & Rudi Schoenmaker. 💙

These boys are very well respected by their teammates, on and off the field, and each offer something different to our side.

All playing senior football last season, they are ready to hit the ground running and take that next step to success.

With them all being under the age of 25 and a lot of senior football ahead of them, we can’t wait to see what they have installed for us next season at Windsor Park.

The Launceston football club is excited to announce the return of Jayden Hinds, Jacob Boyd, Brodie Palfreyman, Bailey Gillow and Archie Wilkinson for the 2026 season. All of these boys had excellent individual seasons and showed why they are some of the best players in our competition. All a part of our leadership group, they are keen to help take the group to the next level. We can’t wait to see them back in navy blue again tearing up Windsor Park! 💙

After leading our Premier League women’s side to an incredible premiership this season, Ash Smith will once again take the reins in 2026. Ash’s leadership, passion, and belief in the playing group have been instrumental in building our strong culture and success.
We can’t wait to see what’s ahead in 2026 as we continue to grow, compete, and inspire the next generation of Lady Blue players. 💙🏆
