Bill Callaghan Service Award

Bill Callaghan Service Award    –    primarily for any person who did their job beyond expectations

Bill Callaghan never played with the Launceston Football Club, but was a one-eyed Blues supporter, for as long as he can remember.  He was the Club’s drink steward since 1935.  Bill continued to serve the Launceston Football Club through until 1976 (aged 74) his willingness is still undaunted.  He was honoured with Life Membership in 1958 for his services to the Launceston Club. Bill Callaghan passed away in 1989.

Congratulations to Melissa Hodge, the 2018 recipient of the Bill Callaghan Service Award.
