NTJFA Grand Final Results

September 4, 2014

The NTJFA Grand Final day was held at Aurora Stadium on Sunday the 31st of August.

Launceston had 4 teams competing on the day with only the Under 15’s missing out who just missed out in the Semi-Finals!

Under 12’s

The Under 12’s kicked the day off and what a game it was! Launceston made the Grand Final from 4th position on the ladder and were up against a South Launceston team who had only lost twice all year. The boys fought hard all day and held a 12 point lead at 3 quarter time but just couldn’t quite hold on as South kicked 3 goals in the 4th quarter. A fantastic effort though boys and one to be very proud of!

Under 14’s

The Under 13’s finished the home and away season in 3rd and took on the 2nd placed team, North Launceston in the Grand Final. The Blues managed to knock off the top team Longford the week before. Battling a couple of injuries, the boys fought hard but came up against a North team who were just too good on the day. Plenty to learn from this game and the boys will be back bigger and stronger next season!
